Sony Xperia ZR, revisiting Xperia Z sauce still waterproof?

the current Xperia Z





According to data released in recent weeks, the new top of the range Sony, which is called theXperia Z, despite the many doubts raised regarding the display and other details would be selling very well and would have reached 4 million copies distributed until today.

In the wake of momentary success Sony does not seem to want to miss the chance to repeat the results obtained and, according to the latest rumors reported by ' Xperia Blog may be working in the coming months to launch a successor to the top of the range that would take the name ofXperia ZR.


The current code name for the solution seems to be Dogo, while the model should be identified by the number C550X. According to rumors spread, also, the size of the terminal would be slightly lower than those of Xperia Z; one speaks of a display of "only" 4.6 inch resolution 1280x720 pixels.
As Xperia Z also the new ZR should be waterproof but with a certification IP58 ensure that the resistance to dive more than a meter and a half to about 30 minutes. Other features include a 13-megapixel camera, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory and expandable battery of 2300 mAh capacity.
We await further information and any confirmation or denial by the Japanese manufacturer.
