Google hires industry veteran of video games (Android)

"Google continues its commitment to the gaming world, as Noah Falstein will occupy the role of Chief Game Designer for Android."


Google seems increasingly determined to focus on the universe gaming. The latest news about the recruitment of Noah Falstein, the video game industry veteran with a long career behind him 23 years old. The new role will be to Falstein "Chief Game Designer," which might suggest that Google is planning to develop games owners.

Falstein in the past worked for software houses such as 3DO, LucasArts, and Dreamworks Interactive, and has contributed to several LucasArts adventure games, including several chapters of Indiana Jones, as Fate of Atlantis, and The Dig. In the past 16 years he has edited The Inspiracy instead, a company that provides consulting services.

In the LinkedIn profile of Falstein are also references to its Previous post as "Chief Game Designer" for a study that deals with the development of video games for Android. This announcement, therefore, might suggest a direct entry of Google into the world of mobile gaming, possibly in combination with Google Glass.

In recent weeks, in fact, had revealed information about secret code that would suggestinnovative solutions for gaming Google Glass .
