Once it was necessary to make a definite choice when you chose a camera-or bet on the zoom or compact size. For some years now, thanks to the evolution of technology and experience accumulated by the producers in the construction of the optics, this choice is not so clear-cut and can be found in compact bodies with optical zoom range of superzoom worthy of a time.
Sony with its new Cyber-shot HX50 wants to put a new milestone on this path leading to a focal which even some of the bridge come at a very pocket-sized body. The optics, branded Sony G is stabilized and offers 30x zoom covering focal lengths equivalent to 24-720mm F3.5-6.3 aperture with. The sensor is a CMOS 1/2.3 "Exmor R BSI 20.4 megapixel camera, capable of shooting bursts of 10 pictures per second, records Full HD 50p and to move between 100 and 3200 ISO sensitivity, pushing in boost mode up to ISO 12800.
