As officially stated in these hours via a press release, the Korean giant Samsung have started producing new modules with 4GB RAM LPDDR3 technology to 20 nanometers

The Korean giant Samsung has officially announced during the last few hours it has begun production of new modules of RAM low power double rate 3, or more commonly LPDDR3, 4GB, obviously dedicated to the mobile market and, at least for now to devices high-end.

Precision and high quality using 20-nanometer technology, the new modules of 4 GB RAM will then be ready to equip the next generation of smartphones and tablets.

Compared to the modules LPDDR 3 to 30 nanometers, the new LPDDR3 to 20 nanometers from 4GB offer improved performance by about 30%, but especially an average consumption of about 20% lower.

"By providing the most efficient next-generation Mobile memory with a very large data capacity, we are now even blackberries enabling OEMs to introduce innovative designs in the marketplace. Our 20nm-class four gigabit Mobile DRAM Provides another example of our ability to deliver well-differentiated, high-performance, high-density memory to customers in a timely manner, " these are the words of Young-Hyun Jun, vice president of memory sales & marketing at Samsung Electronics.

It is hard to imagine a debut of new memories already at the launch of the next Galaxy Note III probably expected for the month of September, but due to the advance we do not feel even completely exclude the option.
