AMD extends its range of FX family of processors for desktop systems with two new models: FX-4350 architecture with 4 cores and FX-6350 with 6 core in-house






AMD extends its range of solutions FX family of desktop processors combined with socket AM3 + motherboards. There are two new proposals: FX-4350 with quad-core architecture, and FX-6350, combined with a 6-core.
The FX-4350 has a clock speed of 4.2 GHz, with the ability to be pushed up to 4.3 GHz via Turbo Core technology. The integrated L3 cache is 8 Mbytes, while the TDP settles on 125 watts. The list price is 122 dollars, excluding taxes. This CPU is offered at the same price of the FX-4300, characterized by CPU clock frequency of 3.8 GHz (4 GHz with Turbo Core), 4 Mbytes of L3 cache and TDP of 95 Watt content.
For the FX-6350, with 6-core architecture, we find a clock frequency of 3.9 GHz with up to 4.2 GHz peak in combination with Turbo Core technology. The L3 cache is 8 Mbytes, while the TDP is 125 watts as the FX-4350. The official list is equal to $ 132, again excluding taxes. In this case the price is equal to that of the CPU FX-6300 model features a clock frequency of 3.5 GHz (4.1 GHz with maximum Turbo Core), 8 Mbytes of L3 cache and TDP of 95 Watt.
The range of AMD FX series is completed by FX-8350 and FX-8320, both with 8-core architecture and clock frequency of default equal to 4 GHz and 3.5 GHz, always in combination with L3 cache 8 Mbytes and TDP equal to 125 Watt.
